Holidays, Dreams, and Dogs

Hello there.
I'm sorry it's been awhile. I've been busy, what with church stuff, family, and school.
Christmas came and went. It was fun, but went by too fast. I got a new dress and watch that I am rather fond of.
My cousins from California came in to town, and they'll be here for another week. My uncle left yesterday because he had to get back to work (he works as an animator at DreamWorks) but he'll be back at the end of the week.
The sun has been out but the snow isn't replenishing-- it's melting. Utah is ugly right now, what with the pollution and lack of snow.

As an eighth grader and 13-year-old, I am expecting to come up with a future job and college plan. The thing is, I don't have any! Everyone else my age has known what they've wanted to be when they grow up for years. Not me. I used to want to be a singer. That was a big dream for years and years. Ha. I'm extremely shy and socially awkward, so that would be a terrible career choice for me. As of late, I have been thinking about becoming an author or teacher.
As for college, I have always pictured myself going to Brigham Young University (one of the main colleges here). It's where my parents and most of my extended family members went, and where my cousins are now going. But it's getting harder and harder to get into the school, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to.

Okay. Sorry about that. Rant over.

I hung out with a couple of friends for the first time since we got out of school yesterday. We saw Frozen (my second time) and it was AMAZING. Then I went to one of my friend's houses and she was surprised to see that they had gotten a puppy! A little seven-week-old beagle named Daisy. She is adorable.

Well, now I am being pushed to decide what my musical plans are for this year. I've been playing guitar since May, but right now I am really not into it. My teacher is awesome and all, but my older brother is quitting playing to switch to piano and I don't really know what to do. I've always wanted to play violin, but my younger siblings play and have been playing for four years or so. So that's kind of out... I really do not know what to do.

I have to go now. Chores and stuff.

Adios!
